LEARN TO PLAY
Our Learn to Play program is designed for children ages 5–8 who are brand new to the game. The focus is on fun, movement, and introducing the fundamentals of fastpitch in a supportive and playful environment.
At this stage, players will learn how to throw, catch, hit, and run bases through engaging games and activities that build coordination and confidence. Teams are smaller and parents are encouraged to participate, making this a great family introduction to sport. The emphasis isn’t on competition, but on building friendships, learning teamwork, and developing a love of the game.
U7
The U7 division is all about fun, teamwork, and building a love for the game. Designed as an introduction to softball, players learn the basics through active games, simple drills, and lots of encouragement. Everyone gets the chance to bat, run the bases, and try out different positions in a safe, supportive environment.

At this age, the focus is less on competition and more on movement, confidence, and making new friends. Coaches pitch or use a batting tee to ensure success for every player, keeping the energy high and the smiles big. U7 is where many athletes take their very first steps into the sport—and discover just how fun softball can be.

U9
U9 is where young players really start to feel like they’re playing the game. This division builds a bridge from Learn to Play toward more structured softball, giving kids a chance to try out different positions while learning additional rules in a supportive setting.

Evenings are split between skill development and game action. The first portion focuses on fun, interactive drills that teach fundamentals, while the second half puts those skills into play in a modified game format. Every child gets the chance to bat and circle the bases, with coaches pitching and a batting tee available to ensure everyone succeeds.

U9 softball is all about growing confidence, building teamwork, and keeping the game exciting as players take the next step in their development.
