PARENT INFO
Behind every successful team is a strong circle of parent support. When families get involved, the season runs smoother, players feel more supported, and everyone enjoys the experience more. Here are some ways you can help your child’s team:

TEAM MANAGER
The coach’s right hand! The team manager helps organize communication, update TeamSnap, collect fees, arrange snacks, and keep families informed about schedules or changes. Probably the biggest parent helper job/commitment - but extremely critical so your coach can focus on coaching!

SCOREKEEPER
Learn to keep the scorebook! It’s easier than you think, and training is available. This role is essential for both house and rep teams.

FIELD PREP
Arrive a little early to help set up bases, rake the infield, or line the field. After the game, help with cleanup so the next team is ready to go. CMFA even runs a quick field prep workshop for parents at our Opening Ceremonies event! P.S. - We only have to field prep home games!

SNACKS & TEAM SPIRIT
Organize a snack schedule for younger teams, or coordinate fun extras like team potlucks, walk-up music, or end-of-season treats to keep spirits high.

TOURNAMENT SUPPORT
Help plan team meals, arrange travel, or set up tents/chairs at tournament weekends. These small efforts make a big difference for everyone’s experience.

MEMORIES
Take photos or videos during games and practices and share them with the team (with permission). These moments become memories that players treasure.

POSITIVE FAN
One of the most important roles! Cheer for all players, respect the officials, and set an example of good sportsmanship from the stands.

Every family has a role to play. Whether you have five minutes or five hours, your support helps create the best possible experience for all our athletes.
